In modern conditions of sanctions restrictions, the development of the information services market is of particular importance. The transformation of global data exchange processes and the restriction of access to foreign information resources and technologies create both new challenges and threats, as well as new opportunities for the domestic segment of the information services market. In these conditions, it becomes especially important to theoretically comprehend the basic concepts of this subject area, to clearly define and systematize them, as well as to study the mechanisms of their functioning. This will make it possible to more effectively analyze current market development trends, identify key growth factors, and develop appropriate strategies and mechanisms for its import substitution and technological sovereignty. This article discusses various interpretations of the concepts of "information product", "information service" and "information services market", gives the author's definitions of these concepts, analyzes their interrelationships, and highlights their features.
