The article examines the transformation of approaches to the strategic management of higher education institutions in the context of total digitalization and the diffusion of generative artificial intelligence technologies. The author substantiates that in modern realities, academic integrity transitions from a category of abstract ethical concepts into the loop of strategic risk management and becomes a fundamental factor in ensuring the university's competitiveness and sustainable development. Based on the integration of the corporate sustainability concept and a holistic approach, a mechanism is revealed where ensuring institutional trust acts as the core of the social and governance standards of higher education. Particular attention is paid to the need to implement evidence-based management based on the analysis of a verifiable digital footprint and the design of differentiated pathways of cognitive loads to protect the university's human capital from professional burnout.
