The article considers the main directions of technological specialization of the instrument engineering and electronics industry in the context of the formation of technological sovereignty from the perspective of patterns of technical evolution and technological synergy. Based on the data of industry experts, a vector of technology synergy has been proposed for enterprises of the Russian Federation, which makes it possible to form a roadmap for the development of the industry, considering the tasks of ensuring technological sovereignty. It has been revealed that stimulating OCD in the development of modern sensors and software support can become a trigger for the formation of a wide range of modern products and technological solutions. The practical applicability of the research results is assumed.
