The study is devoted to developing an applied mechanism for enhancing the economic security of property management companies in the housing and communal services sector. The mechanism integrates methodological tools (risk assessment), organisational tools (internal control), and institutional tools (regulatory amendments). The industry‑specific features are taken into account: the transitory nature of financial flows, social sensitivity, and regulatory constraints. Practical implementation helps minimise risks, optimise costs, and increase the transparency of management companies’ activities, which together will strengthen their sustainability and enhance trust from property owners and supervisory authorities.
