The article examines the possibility of using the official statistical indicator of the share of Internet sales in total retail trade turnover as a partial indicator of the digital resilience of regional economic security. Based on data from seven constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the dynamics of Internet sales are compared, and a correlation analysis is conducted to assess their relationship with gross regional product, organizational turnover and GRP growth. The results show that the share of online sales has a positive relationship with the scale of the regional economy and business activity, but does not confirm a direct dependence on short-term GRP dynamics. The conclusion is made that this indicator can be used in the system for assessing regional economic security only in combination with other socio-economic and infrastructure indicators.
