The article examines the problems of strategic communication between the state and the business community in the field of sustainable development. It is substantiated that the achievement of sustainable development goals cannot be ensured solely through administrative methods, since a significant part of investment, technological, organizational, and innovative resources is concentrated in the business sector. The article shows that the key limitations of public-business interaction include different planning horizons of the state and business, fragmented feedback channels, insufficient predictability of regulation, weak economic interpretation of sustainable development goals for the entrepreneurial sector, and a lack of trust in government initiatives. Based on the analysis of scientific sources and statistical data, the article reveals the social, environmental, and investment-financial parameters of sustainable development in the Russian Federation. The conclusion is made that it is necessary to move from one-way informing of business to institutionalized dialogue, within which the business community acts as an active participant in shaping and implementing a sustainable socio-economic agenda.
