The article examines the importance of employees’ digital literacy in the organizational support of enterprise economic security. It is substantiated that, under the conditions of business digitalization, organizational security depends not only on technical protection tools, but also on the correctness of employees’ everyday actions when using corporate email, electronic document management systems, information systems, digital services and communication channels with counterparties. Digital literacy is interpreted as the ability of employees to responsibly and safely perform their job duties in a digital environment, comply with internal regulations, understand the economic value of information and respond to non-standard situations. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between digital literacy, internal control, digital discipline, data protection and counteraction to social engineering. It is concluded that employees’ digital literacy is an important condition for the stability of business processes and the manageability of an enterprise in a digital environment.
