ANALYSIS OF THE DYNAMICS AND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTIONS OF IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract:
This article examines the field of immersive technologies, including virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies (VR, AR, and MR). The study uses a comprehensive approach that includes the following methods: a retrospective analysis of the evolution of immersive technologies; content analysis of scientific publications, industry reports, and materials from specialized conferences; and a comparative analysis of data from Russian and international patent databases. The methodology employed made it possible to systematize the progress of immersive technologies and identify the main trends in their development. The scientific novelty of the study lies in systematizing knowledge about the history of immersive technologies and incorporating information from patent databases into a retrospective analysis of the industry. Based on a comparative analysis of patent databases, the key technological trends are identified. The paper also characterizes selected Russian patents that support the integration of immersive solutions into the business processes of high-tech enterprises. The practical significance of the study may be associated with the use of the obtained results to substantiate patenting directions and the technological strategy of enterprises implementing immersive systems.
