Projects related to strengthening the role of women in politics and economics should become an effective tool of economic diplomacy aimed at promoting interests of Russia on the world stage. BRICS, in which favorable conditions for cooperation have been created following the outcomes of the Russian presidency and in connection with the expansion of the geography of the participating countries, as well as the most authoritative economic platform in the Asia-Pacific region, the APEC Forum, are convenient multilateral formats for this work. This article analyzes a number of Russian initiatives and projects implemented on these international platforms in the context of improving Russia's image and promoting its economic interests through soft power and economic diplomacy. The important contribution of women's initiatives to shaping a multipolar, more just world order and establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with partners in many friendly countries is emphasized. The authors cite as examples projects in which they have been and continue to be personally involved.
